Hello Universe, the 2018 Newbery winner, is a story of a bond that forms between a diverse group of middle school students as a result of a shocking act of bullying. In Wolf in the Snow, winner of this year's Caldecott Award, a girl and a wolf cub make friends in a snowstorm in this delightful wordless book.
